Bruce Dailey

Lead Pastor

Pastor Bruce Dailey, an ordained minister in good standing with the Assemblies of God, has been active in full-time ministry for more than thirty years.  He has served primarily as a senior pastor; however, he has also served as children’s pastor, youth pastor and church planter.  Additional ministerial activities have included serving as presbyter, sectional secretary-treasurer, founder and president of a Teen Challenge, and founder and captain of law enforcement chaplain corps to name a few.

A three-legged stool can illustrate Pastor Bruce’s philosophy of ministry.
  • A passionate pursuit of God
  • A firm foundation in the Word of God
  • An authentic Pentecostal ministry
These three legs bring an essential balance and purpose to ministry.  This includes a strong emphasis on discipleship.  His transparent, relational style has been effective in building a community of believers who support, encourage and build one another up in love. Vibrant worship, committed prayer and relational fellowship help build a healthy, safe church community.   As believers develop intimate relationships with Jesus, base their lives on His Word, and are used as His vessels through which His Spirit flows, they positively affect the world around them for His kingdom.

Pastor Bruce loves his family and is committed to making them a priority in his life.  His wife, Linda, of more than 40 years, is not just his helpmate in marriage but in ministry as well.  Alisha and Cherie’ are their two beautiful and talented daughters.  They are both married:  Alisha to Aaron Watterson and Cherie’ to Anthony Tringali. They are blessed to have seven wonderful grandchildren.

Pastor Bruce spends a lot of time reading, but his most favorite interests have to do with being an outdoorsman.  Camping and hiking are among those activities he thoroughly enjoys and date back to his Boy Scouting days where he eventually earned the rank of Eagle.  Riding motorcycles is a preferred pastime as well.

Linda Dailey

Associate Pastor

Pastor Linda is the wife of Hope Church’s Lead Pastor, Bruce Dailey.  She was raised in an Assemblies of God pastor’s home with two younger brothers, Robert & David Millsaps.  Some of her earliest memories include helping her parents in the ministry in various ways from folding bulletins to street witnessing.  While attending a Minnesota senior high youth camp God called her into the ministry continuing the lifestyle she was being prepared for throughout her growing up years.

Linda attended North Central Bible College where she met her husband.  They were married in 1978.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science in 1981.  In 1990 the Assemblies of God’s License to Preach credentials were conferred upon her.  Throughout the years Linda has ministered at her husband’s side in a multitude of ways, mostly in office work, music ministries, pastoral care, teaching and women’s ministries.  Assisting him in “equipping the saints for the work of the ministry” is that to which she has devoted her life.

Of course, family is at the top of Pastor Linda’s list of priorities.  She and Pastor Bruce have two lovely daughters.  Their oldest, Alisha, is married to Aaron Watterson.  They live in Omaha, Nebraska and are the parents of five of their grandchildren.  The Dailey's second daughter, Cherie’, a sweet and generous woman, is married to Anthony Tringali and have two sweet daughters.  They also live in Omaha.
There are several interests that Linda has outside the ministry.  She loves to read, play the piano and scrapbook.  Bird watching is her newest pastime.  She also enjoys traveling, sifting through antique shops and collecting cranberry glass.  All of these interests are readily seen in her home where she and Pastor Bruce enjoy entertaining.

Her life goal is simply to serve her Lord, her family and her church to the best of her ability.

Jen Van Groll

Youth and Children's Pastor

Hey, I'm Jen! As the Youth and Children's Pastor at Hope Church I truly love all things ministry.  I have since I was a kid. There is something incredible about seeing kids and students connect with Jesus and come to an understanding of who He is. I didn't think the ministry was what was in store for me as an adult until I was on a missions trip in high school and felt God strongly call me to children's ministry. Since then He has shaped an expanded that calling.

Though ministry is high on the list of things I love, I also like to be with friends and family, travel as often as I can, drink coffee every day and enjoy all things Disney!
