SAFTEY
We take the safety of all who attend Hope Church seriously; therefore, as a precaution the doors will be locked during services/activities. Suite C will be monitored so a person can be admitted to the building. Suite E has a doorbell to ring and someone will come to let that person into the building.
All children who are in attendance, either Sunday or Wednesday, must be checked in and will be given an identifying sticker. At that time, their parent or guardian will be given a corresponding sticker identifying that they are the one to whom the child should be released. After the service/activity, the child will be released only when the parent/guardian with the corresponding sticker comes to pick them up.
In addition, all children's workers have passed a background check. They are identified by a Hope Church lanyard with their name on it. They are the only ones allowed in the children's areas when they are blocked off. This includes restrooms. Should a parent/guardian need to attend to their child/guardian they will be accompanied by one of these workers. If a parent is needed by a child, they will be called to come addend to them; however, they will also be accompanied by an authorized worker.
If you have any concerns in this regard to any of these policies, please discuss them with one of the pastors.
CANCELLATION OF SERVICES
There are times when, for various reasons, our services or activities must be cancelled. An example of this is when the weather is so bad that our leadership believe it is too dangerous to drive. When there is a cancellation due to weather concerns, it will be posted on the Home Page of our website.
